The D-rings open with an easy press of the single button on the spine and snack shut with a simple squeeze of any ring. The rings are keyed with a small prong and mating socket so that the paper moves smoothly over the joint. They open flat and the front cover can fold behind the binder if space on your desk is tight. The rubber edging on the covers is a nice touch. The covers seem very durable. It is easy to make and insert a label for the spine although the label is somewhat small at 1" x 4". The binders come in attractive colors that are compatible with a professional environment.

I am a college student, and this size is perfect. Can handle an entire semester load of documents. The non slip surface is great when your book bag is too full and you have to "arm carry" a notebook. The D-rings open easily, and papers glide over them when turning. A little pricey, but the quality lasts, except for the front view pocket. It is easy to rip, and then no more view binder. I love color ! These are great !

I homeschool my children, and we all use these binders. I was so glad to see them on sale for 50% off, that I bought our binders for next year! I don't remember ever seeing them on sale, and they are a bit on the pricey side. Typically I'm holding a baby, so the one touch tab to open the rings is a great feature. There is a sleeve in the front where the kids can draw a picture, or whatever, to personalize their books. There's also a section on the side with a hard plastic window and a tab to write your name, so when it's sitting on a shelf, you can tell who it belongs to. No one ever picks the same color, as there are so many to choose from. The only downfall, other than the price, is that it can get bulky. There are rubber reinforcements on the edges of the binder that make it a little bigger than a normal binder would be, but that's just to add to its durability. If you drop these books, they don't break, and no papers fall out. I have yet to see a space between the rings. Very durable and perfect for our use at home and at school!

I, recently, purchased a colorful binder from another well known store, and in two weeks it had split in the fold of the binder. I don't see this binder doing that. Very sturdy and useful. I am very happy with it.

My middle schooler wanted this binder to organize the stuff she carries back and forth to school every day. But it is really bulky with non-skid rubber edges. Getting it into and out of her backpack is difficult. And doesn't leave much room in her pack for anything else. Having a little buyer's remorse. Better to be used for home/office organizing.
