I am using these as permanent records for my Grandchildren. I add to them constantly and they need to last/hold up for approximately 18 years. I looked for a binder that wasn't going to fall apart with constant use, and that could handle being removed from a shelf without the edges showing wear, thus making the presentation appear unkept and cared for. I wanted rings that wouldn't crimp the pages, or let them sneak out of the openings and get all bent up. The color selection leaves a lot to be desired.

I AM A POET WHO WRITES LETTERS AND POEMS, AS I AM OUT IN THE WORLD. I STORE THE RESULTS IN THE NOTEBOOK, AND CARRY IT IN MY SOFT BRIEFCASE. THIS BINDER IS TOO LARGE, THOUGH IT CARRIES ALMOST THE SAME AMOUNT OF PLASTIC COVERED LITERATURE AS A STANDARD BINDER SAME SIZE - D-RING. I COULD RIP THE ZIPPER trying to close up the brief case. I will have to look for another type of white D ring 1 1/2 binder. One that will fit nicely inside the briefcase, zipped.

I have a teenage son, who destroys the regular 3-ring binders in less than 2 months. Out of desperation I tried these binders last year and they survived to the end of the school year. I still had to replace them for the new year, but the over-all cost balances out in the end to buy these once a year instead of the others 3-4x's in 1 school year.

I bought this for my son to use in school. Kids can really beat up their things but this binder should hold up very well for the long run. It costs a little more but he will not have to fight with it as with cheaper versions. It doesn't pop open on when dropped.

I was really impressed with the amount this binder would hold. I transfered every page from an over stuffed 3" binder into this one with room to spare. The D Ring must be the key!

I like these binders mostly for their durability. The regular binders will fall apart in less than 3 months. I use these binders out in the field in wet and dry conditions, I leave them in the van in cold and hot weather. Most other vinyl binders with the cardboard core disintegrate and tear at the seams and have to be thrown out. The first better binder bought 5 years ago is still in very good condition

We use these binders to hold program guides that get heavy use. They hold up year after year, always look great (clean up with a damp cloth and it's good as new)and the rings don't bend, don't break. The rubberized corners keep it from damaging anything nearby and even help it stand better! It's durable and clean; it's a great binder.
