Bought this for my 17yr old son whose old binder has only lasted a few months. I decided it is better to spend a little more money than have to replace it every few months. Seems like a very sturdy construction. Hopefully it will hold up this time.

Product design flaw

A really good product, but a significant problem lies in the opening of the rings. You cannot open the rings by pulling on them. You must use the lever. I did not see ...Read complete review

A really good product, but a significant problem lies in the opening of the rings. You cannot open the rings by pulling on them. You must use the lever. I did not see any warning about this & bent the rings in an attempt to open them. As a result, the rings no longer close correctly and the papers do not smoothly move about the rings.
The binder needs a warning notice or change the design. A $10 binder ruined because of this problem.

    I would not purchase this product again because it is very poorly constructed. I was working on a project that involved organizing many documents, so I purchased several of theses binders at once. Within a week of use, which involved repeated open/closure operations, the binder tore at the outer seams with the plastic ripping at its spine. I am certain that with continued use, the entire plastic covering will unravel as it is extremely flimsy material. Plastic inserts on the inner covers are the only good features.
