The D-ring design and single closure make this binder easier to use and open & close. It's a better choice than the average binder an worth the extra couple of bucks, especially in the larger sizes. I use these utilitarian binders for storing music sheets and for business purposes, and my child uses them for school. We each put these binders through plenty of wear and they hold up pretty well. While the cover itself couldn't stop a bullet or a drop from a high-rise building, it is pretty durable. My favorite part is the single rubbery-capped closure, which is better than those sharp, thin double closures. I also like the D-shaped rings, which stay closed and make page-turning smoother. (Nothing's worse than having all of one's carefully organized music sheets or papers fall out at the most inopportune times.) This is a reliable product.

I thought this product was only [$] which was "kind of a bargain" opposed to the non-sale selection. However, it was only that price if 3 were purchased. This is a run of the mill binder that is way overpriced. The cheaper, non-sale binders were more durable for less money.
