I must confess I had a half off coupon for this product. I do like it very much. It is pretty sturdy and I like the one touch opening. I have to have the view binders, because presentation is EVERYTHING. Jury still out on spine label; let's see if it stays put for a whole school year. I like the bright yellow, it is one of our school's colors. And I will know that it's mine at a glance!

I have only had this notebook for a short time. It is not full and has not been stressed. Opening it is awkward and the rings do not meet when it is closed. Because of that, papers come out when you don't want them out. Very frustrating.

I use binders for all my genealogy records, sewing patterns and projects I download from the internet in addition to my position as a church secretary treasurer. I will no longer waste money on binders that fall apart. The Staples Better Binder is the best I've found on the market. I now have two of these great binders and plan to replace all my binders (about 20 so far) with the Staples Better binders View Binders. Keep those binder store coupons coming please!

The quality of this binder impresses me. I've had to open and close the rings repeatedly without any trouble. It's sturdy and will last for many years to come. I would say this Staples brand product is as good if not better than the name brand binder you find in stores.

The only drawback to this item was that you had to open it from the bottom end of the ring spine - I couldn't open it by pulling on the rings themselve - a good feature in itself! - but it would be easier to open it if there were two thumb latches (one at each end!)

Otherwise: I now have two (2) of these binders - I would NOT have bought a second one if the first one did not work per my expectations! The best feature I liked was being able to put a cover page in the plastic window on the front of the binder - now that was a real winner!!!
