I really like the Avery D-ring binders. Especially the VIEW type. I am excited that they are now BPA-free, too - yeah for the environment and for us consumers. I do wish there was more color variety in the larger sizes (2 inches and up). Although I primarily use them to organize and protect some of my reference materials for business and/or professional use - my son has used these binders for years for schoolwork, too. The D-ring variety definitely holds up better than the standard ones did. That said, if you are really rough on them, they will fall apart.

One of the main uses for our company involves the presentation of vital Installation and Operation Instructions. If one of our customers or a distributor is showing more than one size of our product, each relevant set of instructions can be added to the binder for reference. There is still ample space to add special merchandizing material. We like having the cover available for personalized presentation or pictorial reference, especially when using the binder for business plan presentation, uniquely taylored to a specific investor, or type of investment.

I use these binders both for personal and business. I keep medical records on myself for easy access as well as my business bank account statements. (colors tell me at a glance which account is which.) The last statement is alway on top so reconciling is completed in minutes. They are great and reasonably priced.
