I use this notebook for keeping my lessons in for my Bible College classes. I can also put extra paper in the back to use for the notes that I take during class. I really like the rubberized binding and edges of the notebook because I do to not have to worry about the excessive use causing the plastic to start separating. Also I don't have to worry about carrying it with me everywhere that I go. Most notebooks start showing the wear and tear on them along the edges and especially at the top and bottom of the spine especially if they are carried around alot, but with the Better Binder that is not a problem. The vary of colors is a plus because I can use a different color for each class that I am taking or for each of my projects that I am working on. But whatever I use them for, I know that I'm not going to wear out the edges or the spine of the book that I'm using a lot. I also like the way the pockets are made on the inside - it makes it very easy to slide any papers into with only one hand and not having to lift the pocket open enough to start to store my papers in like other notebooks that I have used in the past. So far, I do not have anything negative to say about the Better Binder.

This is the worst product we purchased from Staples. The closure mechanism came apart in a say or so and could not be fixed. Even the cover coloring was not uniform. wee were so upset we did not even want to go through the trouble of returning the product. We replaced it with a binder from another store for my student daughter, at a much lower price and much better quality..Very disappointed that Staples would carry such shoddy products..

The included inset spine labeling is why I purchased the first one.

Stick on labeling can get old and ragged looking.

Putting a piece of paper withe the binder contents down the plastic sleeve on a plastic covered binder can be tricky. getting it out to change it can be even tricker.

This makes labeling clean, durable and easily changable.

All the jewel like colors are very nice.
