I am in high school and usually my binders fall apart after a month. This binder is GREAT! It has rubber protection on the edges and is made out of hard, durable plastic. This takes away from the cheap plastic/cardboard combination that is easily torn and destroyed. For students like myself who may be slightly unorganized, binders can very often be tossed around, bent, etc. With this binder, I don't have to worry about that. I know that my binder is always going to come out looking great in the end! I have spent the past 3 years trying to find binders with this quality and now I have finally found them. I wouldn't recommend any other binder. This is definitely the best binder out there.

Once open, the left side is loose and floppy. I cannot hold it open and write on pages on the left side. When at a customer's facility, we are often walking through several areas and making notes on the move is impossible. The left side is unstable holding it open in my left arm while trying to write with my right hand.

We use these binders for handbooks which are distributed to kids. Previous cheaper binders had an avreage life expectancy of about 6months. I have yet to see one of these be destroyed. The price is worth it, but I would prefer to see some bulk rated pricing.

In the end, the only problem with the binder is enough of a reason for me to get rid of them. I have two 1.5" and one 2" version of this binder. The ring systems in all three are cheaply made. The opening lever is fine, but the rings are flimsy and do not close tightly. Everyone who uses three ring binders regularly knows that the rings start to separate after heavy use. These rings are separating after only 2 weeks of use. Also, two of the binders have "hang-nails" on the rings, catching on papers.
I also question how well the rubber hinge will hold up over time. Though I can't complain as of yet.

The binder was great, it really made a great impression, but the edge chipped. This binder would have been much better if the edge was a little harder.
