replacement process

Iuse the back-up to protect my computer & attached accessories such as printer, DSL modem & wireless unit. I'm more interested in the surge protection feature than the back-up part. Only thing that is negative is that it is heavy to move!It worked fine until about a month ago. The replacement process was a little hard for me primarily because I got confused about navigating the responses. However, it all worked out & I got a new unit.

Not what was described

I purchased a desktop computer and initially turned down the estended warranty, but the service person talked me into it, saying that if "anything" was wrong with the computer, anything at all, that I could just bring it in to the store and they would either fix or replace it. I described how I had been ripped off my Best Buy before. When it came to fixing something, that particular thing was always "not covered". The sales person swore that Staples extended warranties were not like that.

when I did have a problem and brought my computer in to Staples, a ha! "that's not covered"!...just like Best Buy. Never again will I purchase Staples extended warranties
