I just bought the replacement insurance for my shredder. I hope that the service really does what it suggests. My first shredder I bought at [...] for $20.00 and it lasted 2 years. I hope that if I have a problem I really will be able to have a free replacement. I really do feel secure knowing if I have a problem that Staples cares enough to honor their products and satisfy their customers.

If you ever have a need to use the coverage you will be asked to take your claim to some web based company.
If I buy the product and the warranty at my local store I expect to get the replacement item there as well.
If I wanted to deal with some over the internet company for my warranties I would be buying the product over the internet as well.
Be aware people.
