              I purchased a Replacement Plan for a shredder, and was instructed to "go online to register the product". The Staples website is extremely difficult to navigate, and I never found a place to register the product. Sounds "EASY" but it's NOT !

                  If the replacement costs more than what you originally paid, you will have to pay the difference. Also, if you buy a replacement plan and you use it to replace a product within the first year, it's done, you do not get to keep the second year you paid for.

                  I rarely choose to purchase extended warranties. I figure they wouldn't be sold if it didn't make the company a lot of money, right? Well, after having to replace 2 shredders in a 3 year period, I decided that this time I would purchase this Product Replacement Plan. Well, lo and behold, this shredder decided to stop working after 15 months of use. I called the toll free number for the warranty, answered a few questions, and had a cash card for the full cost of the shredder in my hands within a week! That is incredible service, in my opinion! The representative I spoke with was polite and respectful, and handled my situation quickly and efficiently. I couldn't ask for more! Now it's time to go and purchase ANOTHER shredder. I will definitely purchase the Product Replacement Plan again, without a doubt.
