I had been searching for a bigger shredder to replace my old one. This one is great. I searched for months before purchasing this one. I went to the store several times & tried out the displays. This one was actually quieter than the "quiet one" - some are really loud. It handles several sheets at a time without bogging it down. I like that it looks pretty & sits nicely in my home. It's by far the best one I've ever owned. We've had 3 shredders (over a 8 yr period)previously because I shred all junkmail & anything with our address or personal info. I caught it on sale & although it's not used everyday, it is used several times a week. I am completely satisfied. I have now owned this shredder for a month. I'd definately recommend it.
