The flexibility of these binders is their best feature. They can be "bent" for shoe-horning into tight spaces unlike regular binders. Afterwards, they spring back to their original shape.

They are lightweight which makes them great for storing itineraries and lodging reservation print-outs when traveling. Rigid binders are bulky and unwieldy for this application.

They are very durable. I have been using them for 10 years, and the first ones I purchased are still like new.

I use these for storing records of upgrades to the house and RV (system diagrams and sketches, equipment data, etc.). Also for records of vehicle maintenance.

I also use them for work-in-progress sketches and notes, workshop manuals, to-do lists, and inventories.

I use a Brother labelmaker with P-touch label tape for labeling the content of each binder. One disadvantage is that the binder surface tears when you remove a label to re-use binder for a different purpose. It is best to use a sharp utility or razor knife to score the edges of the label before removing.

If you want binders that stand up by themselves on a shelf, these are not the ones to get. But if you need flexible, durable, and lightweight binders, these are the best I have found.

This is a great binder - as long as you don't want it to stand up on its own (the cover is not rigid enough for that). But they are just wonderful otherwise. They're light, small, and recycled. I have 6-8 of these scattered around my office all the time and the lightness and handiness make them a winner. Plus, an added bonus - self-adhesive address labels and the like actually STICK to the paper surface instead of coming off after a week like with the plastic 3-ring binders!

These are flimsy as anything. They might be good for short term use or for whatever but not long term...i thought they were supposed to be durable & from the website they looked it...but don't be fooled!
