I just love these binders. I am in the process of organizing things in our home and they come in very handy for keeping "Lists" of things that I have created on spreadsheets, along with using sheet protectors. I have these binders designated for various things within our home, so that we can accessed them instantly: One I am using as an Address book; One for Restaurant Take-Out Menus; One contains a list of our DVD and VHS Movies and One for our CD's, Albums and Casettes; One contains Home Product warranties; One contains Home Improvement projects, what we want to do, what we did, when it was done, paint swatches, products used, etc. and One to catalog our craft projects and supplies. They are easy and attractive to store and they don't take up much space.

                    This is a letter size (8.5" x 11") binder.

                    It is not for 5x7 inch docs. The ring spacing is set up for 8 1/2 by 11 inch docs.
                    I guess you could get a paper punch and punch your 5x7 docs so you can place them in the binder suing 2 of the 3 snap rings.
