    1" Avery® Heavy-Duty Binder with One Touch EZD Rings is used yearly by my high school son. We've tried other brands and models, but nothing holds up like these binders. He's a senior this year and these binders have been a "must have" since his sophomore year. They hold more papers than ordinary binders, open easily, and have a clean closing system that doesn't get out of sync from book bag pressure.

      I just purchased this notebook for school a few weeks
      ago, so I really cannot rate it accurately. All I expect from a
      notebook is to just simply function properly and would like it to
      outlast the school year (about ten months). I expect any notebook
      to open and close easily and evenly, and I expect it to be durable.
      This notebook appears to be durable and functional, but all of my
      notebooks that I have purchased in the past, have appeared to have
      these qualities, but obviously none of my notebooks have never held
      up well throughout the school year.
      Only time will tell if this
      notebook will hold up.
