1" Staples Better 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" Mini View Binders with D-Rings are the best binders of this size that I have found.I have bought four other colors and plan to buy one or two more.I am using them to catalog my collection of more than 5,000 comic books. The "D" rings work better than the standard round rings in other brands I have seen, the paper sit flat and even not slated like the others.The rubberized spines make them easier to grab and slip resistant than the vinyl of other brands. The variety of colors make them easy to tell apart without always having to read the spine label. I will be buying more and will recommend them to people looking for a durable nice looking little binder.

I have six children and 25 grandchildren. We have compiled recipes from the adults, and I want to give each family a copy of our family recipes. I was hoping to fine a binder less expensive. The only binder I saw was only $1 less, and this one looks much nicer.
My challenge has been to get my computer to stick to the format I have chosen so that I can get two pages of recipes per 8-1/2" x 11" page. This size is beter for the kitchen where the recipe binder will be used. I could have had the books bound at the copy center, but could not add extra pages.
