I previously used the older type light bulbs and these perform just as well.

- I have to admit there is about a one second delay before the light actually comes on when using these bulbs.

- The brightness is a little lower compared to the older style bulbs, but I actually think this is a good thing as I don't even use the higher settings.

Overall, these bulbs are great buys. I just hope they last as long as they are supposed to. So far it's been a few weeks and no complaints.

Brightness of bulb no where near what expected for an equivalent 150 watt bulb.

I was pleasantly surprised to find 3 way CFLs and happily ordered 2 of these for my floor lamps. They are way too large to fit into the harp of the lamp.
            What a disappointment!

I bought these bulbs to replace some off-brand ones I found at another store. The old ones blinked a lot or would not burn unless on a higher wattage-which defeats the purpose of buying the flourescents in the first place.
