Silly me, I thought bulbs like this were going to be outlawed. It is an excellent brightness to read by, WAY better than the new compact curliques I had thought we were going to be doomed to using.

We love these 150 watt bulbs, much brighter than the 3-way 150's due to the efficiency of a single filament vs. 2 filaments in a 3 way bulb. They are hard to find in stores.
