Works Great!

The construction is great. Notable is the semi-D shaped ring, which keeps documents in place when ready to fold, but does not have the usual sharp D shape that can wear down thinner pages. Very happy with the purchase and would recommend it over more flimsy binders. Having a durable binder is especially important for the larger binder sizes, like this one. Cheaper binders tend to tear at the seam line of the fold, and this one seems to be made a little thicker to reduce that probability. Oopen and close Mechanism is pretty good as well. My advise...if you like to have assurance that your binder is going to operate when you need it the most, spend the few extra bucks and get a binder you can trust. There is nothing worse than having a binder that partially splits when you're trying to show somebody something!

EZD rings actually do hold much more than standard round rings, and they allow for much easier handling while sheets are still in the binder. The binder closes more readily and the documents are not so much at risk of tearing through the punched holes as with round rings. Avery "Heavy Duty" is definitely the binder for my money.

I can't say the color selection at this Staples was poor, but I do wish there had been a wider variety. This is the only reason I did not give this product five stars.
