I'm a college professor and have used many 3-ring binders over the years. These are the best I have encountered. I selected them because they felt sturdy and durable, but only time will confirm this. The fact they were also good looking (distinctive) was a plus. The rings open easily and close securely without gaps. The binders lay flat when fully opened. The rings are D shaped so the content also lays flat. The binders are easy to label and the system used makes it easy to change labels in the future. No more need to apply self adhesive labels on top of each other, or remove them several years later leaving a sticky mess. The front cover allow a face sheet to be inserted so you can apply own cover design, or insert a table of contents. The cost of the binders is high, but I believe they are well worth it if you expect the content to be frequently used (like class notes or research materials) over a period of years.

This binder is no better than any of the other binders on the shelf and cost twice as much! Where is the Staples value??? I purchased one for my son only because it was the only Red binder in the store and he had to have a Red binder for Math - per the teachers. It is the end of October and it is already ripped, and I am out [$] dollars for a binder. WHY ARE BINDERS SO EXPENSIVE ANYWAY????

My daughter used to go through 6-7 binders a year - the covers would just fall off at the spine. The rubber spine on this binder allows her to use, and us to purchase, just one for the entire year. Yes they are more expensive but they LAST.

I got one of these binders and went back for a second one. Good quality, stands up well, attractive. I will be purchasing another smaller one for my personal use and a larger one for a co-worker.

out lasted other binders that we purchased for school last year. My son actually tries to 'destroy' his school binders every year, this was the first binder to make it through an entire school year!!!

This binder is a bit pricey , but I feel it is well worth the money ! I carry my binder around and the edges on this one dont cut into my hands. It is so comfortable to hold.I like the front clear window perfect for a quickveiw of my schedule. THe D ring makes it easy to flip pages . the rubber ends make sure it doesnt slip off my small school desk.
