What can I say...? This is our second Brother Laser and I really like it! I have it working through our network. Much easier than sharing, and the Scanner works for for any PC with network access (and the software installed). The software also integrates scanner functions into Windows properly, so that other programs (like Photoshope) have direct access. Which is something other brands don't have, or at least don't do very well. Overall this device is so much better than the unit it replaced. It's a pleasure to use!

I bought a $700 Canon MF Color laser Printer. At the time i thought about it and almost didn't spend the [$] for the 2 Yr Warranty. Fast forward 18 months, and BLAHTTTO, System Error E197. I break out the manual, follow the destructions, still getting error. I call Canon, they walk me through some additional steps, still getting the error message. The canon rep indicates that a panel has likely been fried and that I will require a service call for the low low price of $300. I then remember i paid for an extended warranty, i find the certificate and call the number. Within 2 minutes of picking up the phone, providing my error message, control number and connecting with the [...]warranty folks I am issued an incident number and informed that they would be shipping me materials to return my broken printer at their expense to their service center. I am happy. The next day the phone rings and it's [...], indicating that the replacement unit they were going to send (the exact model I have) was out of stock and wouldn't be in for some time. They asked if I would accept an alternative, they let me pick an equally priced replacement model that has more functionality than the model i was replacing. Two days later I get a call that the replacement model is out to and that they will be issuing a gift card for the amount of the unit. I will always be buying the ext service warranties from staples a warranty is only as good as the peole standing behind it. The team at [...]were awesome with respect to this experience.

I use this copier everyday. It is just as good or better than the [$] copier I looked at.

I hope that I won't ever need to use it, but in the mean time it gives me peace of mind in case a problem should arise.
