I am concerned about the timing of the protection plan coverage. The salesman said I will have a total of three years of coverage with the manufacturers warranty and then said this protection plan starts immediately. This would mean a total of two years as the coverage would overlap. Since I just purchased the laptop, I have not had to use the service yet.

THE PRODUCT IS GOOD FOR DAMAGED OR ACCIDENTS, BUT HOW ABOUT SOFTWARE (OPERATING SYSTEM) i HAVE MY LAPTOP COVERED WHICH BY THE WAY I GOT TWO WEEKS AGO.i RECEIVED A VIRUS AND STAPLES WANTED TO CHARGE ME 90$. i FELT THAT THIS COVERED COMPUTER HELP TO MAKE YOUR COMPUTER RUN BETTER, IF ITS NOT WHY CHARGE ME? WELL JUST MY OPINION SINCE STAPLES DOES HAVE TECHNICAL ASSIST, MIGHT AS WELL ADD OPERATING SYSTEM PROTECTION. iM PRETTY SURE THAT PEOPLE WILL BY THE INSURANCE BECAUSE OF THIS. When I bought my laptop the salesman sold me the 2 year warranty informing me it would cover anything that could happen to the laptop. Even if I closed a pen in it and cracked the screen it was covered. Only reason I bought the warranty was in case the screen failed. The paper work even said screen replacement was covered. The screen went out on it and guess what? It is not covered or more to the point Staples will not cover it.I have a laptop less the 2 years old that is now worthless. I did not drop it or close anything up in the laptop but it is cracked on the inside. There is no damage what so ever on the outside. Still after paying [$] for this warranty it is not covered. Don't let the sales people lie to you. They get paid on each warranty they sell I guess or they would not lie to you.The sales person I bought it from no longer works there. I wonder how many people he lied to before he was let go?Beware

Good Insurance Company! [...] Other than that, the warranty process is smooth, and the manufacturers are good for thier warrienties!!! For Laptops, I WOULD NOT go without Extended warranty!!!!!
