    The rings open only by pressing the lever, and 2 of three were out of alignment after the first use. The furthest from the lever was the worst. I did some adjustment with two sets of pliers and it's now serviceable.
    Each inside cover has two sets of pockets. I used this binder as a photo album, so the pockets are a convenient place to keep maps, brochures, and (gasp!)negatives.

        Seems to work well for frequent additions and deletions of documents organized by date, most recent to least recent, and retention of additional end-of-year documents at the back of the binder. Also the shape of the rings allows for easy opening and closing of the covers over the documents, without resorting to sheet lifters to keep the papers from getting curled around the rings.
