I highly recommend these binders; they put up with a lot of punishment and keep coming back for more! Like any binders, the rings WILL eventually close unevenly, but if you take reasonable precautions, this will last for a long time. It's a little expensive to use for one-time deals, but for anything that needs durable protection this is the way to go.

I will have to take this one back and exchange it for another one. Maybe I just got a defective one. Staples is known for quality products.

    I love this binder! I use it to keep all of my lesson plans secure and organized. The rings are very easy to open, but stay closed until you push the latch. With the flex rubber sides, there are no cracks or breaks in the spine even after daily use for the entire school year. Definitely recommended!

    These are durable, attractive and long-lasting binders. I only wish there were a few more standard color choices in all sizes. The color choices when you get to the 2" rings was a little limited. These are very reasonably priced when you can get them on a special sale or a coupon. And the D-Rings are very effective.
    Pair them with some Avery dividers and/or organizers to keep documents organized. Use with sheet protectors as well for a very efficient way to keep track of your documents.

      I used a coupon and a rebate for trade-ins to purchase this item. It was expensive without the discounts. But even full price the quality was equal to the price. I am using this item for my Teaching Portfolio so I wanted a very professional looking binder. This was perfect and I loved the color choices.
      When moving the papers that are in a plastic covers it catches slightly on the metal guides.
