      Except for converting to recycled material (a big plus), this product has not changed much since I first started buying one every year 30 years ago. It is still the best hard copy weekly planner available. However, at [$] a copy, the price has increased by more than 400% over those 30 years, and it is no longer a good value. I have purchased my last copy; beginning in 2013, I will make do with one of several monthly planning calendars that come free in the mail each year.

        For 30 years I've used planners, starting with the detailed 2-page daily format. Now, I'm retired and no longer need that level of detail, and have tried any and all configurations and formats of planners. I don't need an address section, have a cell phone, don't need daily notes, but do like to see a month overview and my week all at once. This book covers my needs. What would make it perfect for me is if it was in a small loose leaf binder. That way I could add a few pages for different lists and notes, removing and supplementing them as necessary. Presently I use a small legal pad, tucked inside. Oh, and this fits in my purse as opposed to other planners which are only another thing to carry into the store.

          Have been using this item for many, many years, and now the price is outrageously high, and the paper quality has deteriorated drastically. Not happy about this longtime friend "aging" worse than me!!!
