        I bought this planner because it is thin and lightweight but still sturdy. I can carry it in my handbag without creating extra weight or bulk. It will last the two years I'm sure. My only problem has been that it starts with Monday instead of Sunday so transferring dates from my calendar to the planner was confusing at first. It's all in getting used to it.

              Hallmark used to (maybe still does) give out free yearly planning calendars, but for the last several years I've used the 2-year monthly planner I buy at Staples instead. I'm not allowed to have my cellphone on at work, and find that the simplicity of a physically small planner that I can write on by hand is superior to electronic gizmos for me. I have a calendar I keep at home, and one I keep at work. Carrying the 2-year planner in my pocketbook is no big deal because it's light and doesn't take up much space. I can easily sync up my home and work calendars so I have all the data with me at once. I like the 2 year aspect because it allows me to put in things like Dr. appts that I know will occur in the following year.
