traditional planners don't work for me. i don't need to plan out every hour or every day. but i do need to keep a track of deadlines and special events, so the calendar in the back is very useful.

but mainly, i need a place to keep all my notes: to do lists, menu planning, quotes i like, websites to visit later, important notes from phone conversations. the little things and big things. which are all too cumbersome to input into my phone. i don't have to worry about writing small or making what i write fit into a pre-printed space. the notebook format lets me write as big as i need. highlight as i need. the space for writing in the date at the top is very useful for when i have to go back and find a particular note. and the highlighted HOT areas are great for calling out important things.

this planning notebook makes it easy to bookmark certain pages/notes, write/sketch/doodle on the fly, tape or paperclip in business cards/coupons, or other papers AND have a calendar for reference.

i used to have to carry 2 notebooks. this combines everything i need into one!

My husband has used this book since the 80s he gets one every year. He keeps his personal comments plus his work notes in it. He really enjoys it.
We got him a different kind last year and he wouldn't used it. We had to get him the right one. So this year I went to staples and got him one. They are pretty expensive though. I was shocked at the price when I started to help buy them. It would be really nice if they were cheaper. But as long as my husband wants one I am sure I will find a way to get it. Thanks
