This calendar is far superior and cheaper than the "erasable" wall planner. You can write on it with anything. The erasable version is impossible to write on legibly and if someone brushes up against it, your information is GONE. I do not understand why these are no longer available in the store. I have used them for at least a decade, but getting very hard to find. I bought last two years at Office Depot instead. Now both places make you order, so back to Staples.

We use this as the master calendar on the side of our refrigerator for all kid and family events. Want to erase? Use a pencil. I finally found this online and I am throwing out the erasable one I had to buy to get through January. I've already lost all the transferred info from last year on the erasable one. It's illegible and smeared markings after only a week. Only problem with this version I had in 2012 was that the boxes are a little small. Wish the other paper one with slightly larger boxes had the metal reinforcing rails.
