I have had occasion to enter the offices of decision makers and was proud to see that our binder of choice was equal to that off the national organizations I was competing against.

Binder rings are loose.

I use the binder on an easel and the top ring won't close all the way. When the pages are turned, they get caught in the space between the top rings. Also, the latch that opens the rings is at the bottom of the binder. Because of the easel, I am unable to open the binder while it's on the easel. It would be better to have a latch on the top, rather than on the bottom. One more thing; because the rings are not attached to the middle of the back of the binder, the binder appears very lopsided from left to right when it lies open.

I prefer these to the more expensive ones because the rings are round so the pages are easily turned. The higher priced ones are easier to open but the rings are now straight on one side and it is a hassle to flip pages quickly.

I figured the durable one would be great, but it's not as durable as I'd hoped. I wish that I got the heavy duty instead! One of the rings doesn't meet up evenly so my pages get stuck and the color choices were black or white.

Q:
I want a 3" binder that is wide enough to use the Extra Wide Dividers (item 462861). They are 9.25" wide. I don't see the dimensions of this binder in product specs.

Is this the right size binder? Or are there suggestions for a better large, regularly used reference binder and divider tabs?
