I bought this binder to use for law school classes. The number of cases I had to fit in here was enormous. This was actually a little too small, but it still opened and closed like a breeze, and none of my papers fell out, got ripped, or damaged in anyway. It's not pretty (cause it's so big) but it does the job, and does it well. I had bought the durable version before & returned it because while the quality was good opening and closing it hurt my hands. This is no problem.

    As a professional fine artist and past graphic designer is use binders with Staples Heavy Duty Clear
    Sleeves to organize my photo reference, artists, illustrators, designers, galleries, techniques, art supplies (Canvas, Paper, Brushes, Art Supply Companies, Paint and Studio Equipment). The Easy Open Binders ARE easy open and I am in the process of gradually switching ALL my binders to Easy Open for ease of use. Great product, I love it and highly recommend it. I refer to my binder files daily and once you use it you will be sold.

      This is a great binder. It opens very easily with just the touch of a finger. I love that the rings "marry" each other and make it a seamless joint so that papers do not get stuck on them. I also like the two inside pockets on the front cover of the binder. These make it easy to store and find a specific piece of paper that I might need that day. The color selection was great and I appreciate that because I use several binders for different purposes and this makes it easy to figure out which binder to grab for the day. This is a great binder for the price.
