I bought this binder for my Daughter who is a freshman in High School. She is very careful and protective with her things but this binder started to come apart at its seams within 3 weeks of use. She has to use it everyday to keep herself organized but with normal wear and tear it just wasn't able to handle it. I had to use duct tape to keep it from coming apart. At least this way she will be able to continue to use the binder. I thought buying this particular binder it would be able to last her the whole school year, not just the first quarter.

    The hardware was sturdy, but we were very disappoibnted in the quality of the plastic covering. One binder arrived with split covering. A second split within days. When Staples replaced one, the cover on the replacement was stretched over the cardboard very tightly with wrinkles and it looks like the corners will split very soon. I expected more from Avery. Staples customer service was good.

          This binder was on sale, with the promise of one's expense on it returned under the promise of being a "staples reward" purchase. One cannot say whether or not the Staples Company will fulfill that promise, but to date there has been no email, with "staples rewards" attached, or any other way for the purchaser to believe that the staples rewards are an actual real entity, and that the company Staples will fulfill their promise to cover the expense of thios 3 ring binder. The binder itself was in good shape, a very nice green color, and I am totally satisfied with its quality.
