I thought I couldn't go wrong with purchasing this Avery product. I go through a lot of these each year so I stocked up on them. Firstly, what I received is not what is pictured. The actual product has D-shaped rings, which I hate. The pages do not turn smoothly. The rings do open easily, however because they are designed to open easily, they don't really close completely. The rings gap slightly in EVERY BINDER that I purchased, making it extremely annoying to turn the pages because they get caught in the gap every single time. The old Avery binders are much, much better. Give me back the old round rings with the jagged teeth and strong spring that holds the rings tightly closed, even if that means it takes two hands to open. The front and back are sturdy, but because of the design, they don't stand up neatly on the shelf. They want to flop over which is very irritating. I generally like Avery products, but this is a huge miss.
