Proof you get what you pay for

This came free with a Staples order. It's probably worth about the cost of a cup of coffee and a bagel--not much more. I think the suggested price is vastly inflated. The battery light came on one minute after I put the batteries in!

It does let you hook it up as a webcam, though it is unclear where you get the audio from.

Does NOT work with a Mac as a usb camera. You can put to put it into "Mass storage mode" and drag the movie .avi files to your desktop. iPhoto does recognize it as a camera that you can download photos from, which is nice, so it does beat the $10 mini camera from a chain drugstore beginning with the letter W.

Junk. Shame, shame, shame on Staples for this monstrosity. I used it once and threw it in the garbage, where it belongs.

Memory allows about 4 minutes of filming. Batteries drained in less than 10 minutes. Is it really worth what it was advertised as? Is this really the type of gift Staples wants to give to valued customers? Before receiving this toy, I was a big Staples fan—now, not so much.

Even though this was a free item per a Staples Promo, it is not worth anything. The stated price of [$] is rediculous. This is a cheap plastic kids toy that they could play with for a few hours and would be broken. It is so small and useless that no one could ever really use it. [...] A big disappointment especially since we had to spend more to get this free toy.

When I attempt to power on the camera the red light on the front, that usually indicates the camera is recording, just turns on and then nothing happens. Also, I can't seem to find my user manual is there an online version I can see?

I received this camera and read the manual to find out information about the memory card size that can be used. In the manual it says "SD/MMC card (supports 128MB ~ 8GB)". However, several questions here say only up to 512MB? Has something changed? What is the correct max size of the card the camera can use? Thank you!

  Its according to the video settings, but you may get up to 7.5 minutes of video recording time on 32 MB. With 512 MB up to 120 minutes of recording time.
