Amazingly this hook is holding a somewhat heavy Christmas wreath with lights and four "D" batteries on the front door, heavier I think than the 5 LB maximum, which saves the door being marked or destroyed by these over-the door metal wreath hangers, or plastic wreath hangers that break. And even in frigid weather it is staying put!!!
