Used this to hang a tapestry with a moderately heavy wooden dowel. Husband says no trouble to apply & love the way the hooks look. Only possible suggestion: for this particular use of a round wood dowel, could have used more of a "scoop" to accomodate the round bar, but works anyway.
This is everything you would expect of a 3M product: excellent. Husband used 3M products for 29 years in aerospace industry... & remains impressed.

A basic design flaw: the surface where you put the sticky strip is not flush with the outside edges of the hook. The hook essentially lifted the sticky strip off the wall. It was impossible press the sticky part against the wall. So it wouldn't stick.

I stuck it on the wall and waited one hour as instrucked. It was suppose to hold 3 lbs. I weighed a bag to be sure it was not too heavy. As soon as I hung the 2.5 lb bag on it, it fell off the wall.
