I live in a 1934 oldie but goodie home...plaster walls that crack with the slightest tap of a hammer! Be sure to match the weight of your item with the hook card...clean the area of attachment well (alcohol is good) then follow the simple instructions. I've found greater success with product when I've allowed it to 'set' for 24 hours to assure adhesion. Haven't tried to remove any but, I'm sure that's simple too, judging by the reviews.

I have used the hooks for several occasions and they have not lasted. I made sure i chose the appropriate hook for the amount of weight I needed it to hold. The two separate occasions i have used them, i find the hook and what it was holding in the floor. Not very reliable!!! I guess I have to keep in mind that temperature change was a factor
