This is a standard item I used for my clients' annual financial records. The D-ring is far superior to the O-ring style. They are not used every day, but I have ones that are more than 20 years old that are in great shape.

I use this for work. The side is already splitting after only two months of intermittent use. One of the metal rings is already not closing. Again this was not worth over twenty dolars.
