The ones I use most are to organize and store my children's completed school work. It is high capacity, very easy to open/close, sturdy and rings close evenly. A whole school year fits in one. It worked so well last year that I decided to use it again this year. I found them a bit expensive ([$]) compared to purchasing two 3" binders ($11 each=$22) but I wanted to have a single binder for each child.

I have many of these 5" notebooks and they serve as yearbooks for us, as well as photo storage books we can arrange by years or subjects ( we do both). We can highly recommend these notebooks for personal use as they have durability, are easy to use, easy to open, but securely close. Because of their heavy construction, we can store them either flat or standing. Standard acid free photo sleeves of various sizes fit perfectly and the albums also have some front pockets for larger items which do not fit into the sleeves.

Avery Heavy Duty Binders----I had use for the 5 inch......to hold my 698 pages......still had a comfortable 300 page space left---so it was not crowded. That little red tab (not the two like in others) really was QUIET----my wife hates regular ring close sounds----reminds her of a surgical device from the hospital----so she winces and yells at me everytime I open or close my "regular" binders. So now---with EZ close.....I can gently hold the ring and experience ZERO noise.....YAY ....and that's my 400 words about that !
