I really like this monitor since we have it set up to our liking.

When we were looking at the monitors in Staples, it had the best picture on it out of about 6 monitors that Staples had playing so that we could see the differncee. This monitor had much sharper images & a lot better dimention & coloring than the others did. There was no other monitor choice for us than this one because we liked this one so much.

When we hooked the monitor up, the picture was so bright & not near as nice as the one in the store.

My husband worked 1 hour in the evening & more time in the morning to get the settings somewhat better. We ended up going to Staples to see what their monitor's settings were. We wrote them down & adjusted our monitor. Now it's pretty good.

The only setup instructions that came with the monitor showed how to put the stand on the monitor.

I have purchased dozens of monitors over the years. This was the worst I have seen. Very limited view range, difficult-to-use setup menu, colors too cold even in warm setting, very limited resolution choices. I would not recommend this monitor for any use. I bought one and returned it for an HP2311x, which I should have bought in the first place.

      Purchased this monitor as a replacement for my extended monitor for my laptop. Excellent screen and no burnt out pixels. Pretty much plug and play. The on-screen menu took a lttile getting used to, but I managed to set it up for my needs.

          I have a graphics card with a VGA port. Will this monitor work with that? Alternatively, is there an adaptor that can connect the RGB port to my card. Or am I not up to speed with the latest terminology and don't know that the RGB port is a VGA or SVGA port?

            The answer is that yes, it will work with your VGA video card. RGB is usually for a TV or preview monitor like a CRT with component inputs. This monitor has both VGA and DVI ports on the back.
