        Almost perfect...but falls short!

          This monitor is very, very good, but sadly the quality seems to be lacking. I've only had it for 2 days with about 5 hours of usage total so far, and already there's a dead pixel on the center-right side! So disappointing! Looks like another reviewer has experienced similar issues. I would be willing to exchange for another of the same type to see if that one works better, but I don't think it will be possible because I had to order it from the website, and now the sale has ended too.

          Pros:
          - Very large screen, great for gaming & videos
          - Makes surfing the web a lot more enjoyable as text is easy to read, and details in pictures are more noticeable.
          - Price was very good during the sale.
          - Setup was very easy

          Cons:
          - Dead pixel(s)
          - Colors will wash out a bit near the edges when viewing all-white screens (e.g. when surfing the web or typing), but it is to be expected on a TN-TFT monitor this size.
          - Light bleeding near the edges is quite noticeable when watching a video (majority black screen)
          - Buttons for adjustments are poorly designed and the OSD menu is difficult to figure out as no instruction is included.

          Overall I'm very disappointed because I was very happy with the purchase and I really enjoyed gaming on this monitor while I could. Will be tough going back to my 15.6" laptop screen!

            Looks to be a good unit according to the reviews on newegg, but the 1st one had a stuck red pixel right in the center of the screen. 2nd one had 2 dead and 3 stuck pixels (5 total!!). To most people, this can be overlooked, but once you see them, you can't help but stare at them. Sorry, but had to go with the viewsonic.

              This has an nice BIG screen. It allows me to keep two windows open AND VISIBLE at the same time. It did not come with an HDMI cable but it did include the other monitor connector. I was hoping for more clarity while accessing video sites but otherwise I'm very happy. Price / value was fantastic!
