The battery in my 1st CS 500 lasted over 6 years. I plan to get a new battery for it and use it as APC for our entertainment system. These are truly reliable -- "set and forget."

Output sufficient for one computer and one monitor for reasonable backup time. Get a larger size if you want to increase number of peripherals or computers to the backup.

  According to APC, you will be covered under a brown-out. The product may switch to battery back up to assist with the decrease in voltage. Once normal voltage is restored, the battery will then begin recharging. To place an order for this product, please contact us at 1-800-333-3330.
