      Yes, the battery is internal and is maintenance-free sealed Lead-Acid battery with suspended electrolyte: leak proof. Typical recharge time 8 hours. Staples item IM1DX4575; please call us directly for pricing and availability at 800-333-3330.

    Does this product work with VM Ware? Does it have the network card in it? Or is it an adder?

      In order to use the UPS with the VMWare server, you need to have the network card installed on your UPS. You will need to purchase the card separately in order to use with a VMWare server. Please note that the Smart UPS Model# SMT1000 will not be shipped with the network card.
