We own four of these phones, bought for the office. Call transfer works well and the phone was easy to install and program. The only major feature that was a disappointment is speaker phone. The speaker itself is very load however the mic does not work well at all unless you talk directly in to it, so the person who you are talking to cannot hear you.(what is the point in even using speaker phone?)

AT&T is a quality product and we needed to replace a 4-line phone. Our last AT&T worked well for more than 10 years, with very heavy use. So, I went with AT&T again despite the higher price tag.

I never used this phone so I can't really comment on how well it works. We have a set of older AT&T phones at our small business (AT&T 984/974), which I purchased at Staples. I was hoping the new phone would work with these, but it does not. My only gripe is that only after you open the box do you see a large note stating it is "incompatible with...", and therefore it would have been useful for the Staples website description to include this important information.

Staples no longer sells AT&T models compatible with our phones.
