I've only had the headset for a little over a week, but so far it's been great. I've used it for a few hours in total.

I use it with the headband, which I find pretty comfortable. The range has been good, I've had no problems using it anywhere in my house. Listening volume is good, and my father, who has trouble hearing me on some phones, says I sound good. The controls are pretty easy to use. I use the headset whenever I use my house line.

I have the headset set up using "option 1," which means the headset base and phone are both plugged into the wall jack. I have to take the phone off hook to dial, but once it starts ringing I can switch on the headset and hang up the phone. If I'm wearing the headset when a call comes in, I can answer it from the headset. I keep the headset in the base when not using it (as recommended), so I can't comment on battery life.

For comparison, I also have a Plantronics CS50-USB wireless headset that I use with my computer, which I love. The Plantronics headband is slightly more comfortable. The Plantronics lets you swivel the microphone up, which makes it easier to sip coffee or whatever while you're on a call -- the AT&T microphone is adjustable but doesn't swivel like that.

I considered one of the Plantronics headsets for my home phone, but went with the AT&T because I can use it without hooking it up to the actual phone, and it was a little cheaper because I had $50 Staples coupon.

I would definitely recommend this to others. It's expensive, but the ability to do hands-free calling from anywhere in the house is worth the expense for me.

Used in a medium phone traffic office. It has a strong wireless signal, but the outgoing volume is weak and most callers can't hear the secretary. Incoming sound is good - could be louder, but not bad. We had a problem with a buzzing sound, but that may have been caused by the massive amount of fluorescent lighting fixtures in the area.

Comments about AT&T TL7610 DECT 6.0 Wireless Office Telephone Headset:

base unit was easy to setup and get working, headset options seemed very flimsy. Behind the head option broke 3 days after the 14 day return policy. Luckly there are other options for using the headset, although none seem sturdy. The unit seemed to have good range, though there was some interference in some placed of the house.

Comments about AT&T TL7610 DECT 6.0 Wireless Office Telephone Headset:

It would be better if the you could answer the phone by pressing a button on the headset and without lifting the reciever off the base. It would be nice if when the phone rang it would ring through the headset. This would be convenient when you are out of earshot from the phone base.

Comments about AT&T TL7610 DECT 6.0 Wireless Office Telephone Headset:

You get freedom and privacy at the same time. You can type and not be connected to a handset. The reception is real clear and you can walk away from your desk for a good distance and still be able to hear great. The head piece is wireless, but the lifter takes up some space on the desk and the wires connected to the lifter are in the way. That is not shown on the box.
