The at&t ML17939 2 line telephone has been great so far after a few weeks. Since I already have voicemail through my phone provider, it was easy for me to turn off the answering machine function for one or both lines with a touch of a button. As a 2 line phone, it's easy to set up distinguishing ring tones (as well as independent ring volumes)so you can easily tell which line is ringing. It has mute, call volume, flash, auto redial, speakerphone and caller ID features as well. The speakerphone is excellent and I can easily switch to a headset with a touch of a button as well. I rarely use the handset and normally use either the headset (I use a Plantronics one that I purchased separately) or the speakerphone. It was also easy to program in phone numbers into the directory. The LCD display is great and provides all the pertinent data you'll ever need like call length, date, time, missed calls, etc. The date/time are always displayed for convenience. I love the fact that the phone can be positioned to sit at either a 45 degree tilt or nearly upright on my desk. I don't use it as a wall mount. According to the people I have called, the call quality of the speakerphone is great.
