I've only had the headset for a little over a week, but so far it's been great. I've used it for a few hours in total.

I use it with the headband, which I find pretty comfortable. The range has been good, I've had no problems using it anywhere in my house. Listening volume is good, and my father, who has trouble hearing me on some phones, says I sound good. The controls are pretty easy to use. I use the headset whenever I use my house line.

I have the headset set up using "option 1," which means the headset base and phone are both plugged into the wall jack. I have to take the phone off hook to dial, but once it starts ringing I can switch on the headset and hang up the phone. If I'm wearing the headset when a call comes in, I can answer it from the headset. I keep the headset in the base when not using it (as recommended), so I can't comment on battery life.

For comparison, I also have a Plantronics CS50-USB wireless headset that I use with my computer, which I love. The Plantronics headband is slightly more comfortable. The Plantronics lets you swivel the microphone up, which makes it easier to sip coffee or whatever while you're on a call -- the AT&T microphone is adjustable but doesn't swivel like that.

I considered one of the Plantronics headsets for my home phone, but went with the AT&T because I can use it without hooking it up to the actual phone, and it was a little cheaper because I had $50 Staples coupon.

I would definitely recommend this to others. It's expensive, but the ability to do hands-free calling from anywhere in the house is worth the expense for me.

Used in a medium phone traffic office. It has a strong wireless signal, but the outgoing volume is weak and most callers can't hear the secretary. Incoming sound is good - could be louder, but not bad. We had a problem with a buzzing sound, but that may have been caused by the massive amount of fluorescent lighting fixtures in the area.

Comments about AT&T TL7610 DECT 6.0 Wireless Office Telephone Headset:

Used this headset for two days and on the 2nd day after a few client complaints I called AT&T and the customer support person told me the item needed to be returned so I returned it and purchased the next step up which was unfortunately $65 more.

Comments about AT&T TL7610 DECT 6.0 Wireless Office Telephone Headset:

It really does everything it promises to do. I can walk all over the office without loss of signal strenth. My only complaint is that the over the head headset is a little tight. I'm still playing with the adjustment. It can be set up with an over the head holder, back of the head holder and ear hook. I use the over the head due to my hearing aids.

Comments about AT&T TL7610 DECT 6.0 Wireless Office Telephone Headset:

I'm a freelance writer and often spend hours on the phone with clients. I had a wired headset, but the cord was constantly getting tangled in my chair or around my neck. So I decided to splurge and get this headset. I'm free! I can stand up, wander around, or sit and type at the keyboard when on the phone. My set-up was a little complicated: I have a cordless phone that doesn't use a phone jack, and I'm also using a Verizon wireless receiver. I phoned telephone support, (from my cell phone) and the very helpful customer service representative walked me through set-up. I love it.

Had to try a couple different set ups to get it to work on a multi-line phone, but once it was set up, it works great. No more sore neck from trying to hold phone while talking and typing.

I wanted the Plantronics S12 but it was out of stock. This one was pricier but is wireless. After one month it works great with no problems!
