I've been waiting for a 2-line phone to have built-in bluetooth features, so I can pair my cellphone with the base so I can answer or dial thru my cellphone w/out having to always carry my cell phone with me throughout the house. This paired amazingly. (A yr ago I tried a separate bluetooth device that attached to an existing home phone and it was awful... I heard echos every time I dial thru the Cell connection. This phone sounds great when using my cell!) I also bought an inexpensive bluetooth headset to pair with the phone, and now i can talk on my home lines using a bluetooth headset and not have to deal with cords. Works great!
My only challenges with the phone (none of which are deal breakers for me, so i'm keeping it) are:
- The phone & handsets feel a little light, almost kind of cheapish
- When using the speakerphone, it doesnt duplex (meaning, if i start talking, it cuts off the person on the other end and prevents me from hearing them if they're talking at the same time)
But overall, the phone and features are GREAT.

I have been holding off on buying a new phone, because every phone I have bought that has what I need has been pretty disappointing in one way or another. This phone has it all - 2 lines, answering machine, decent speakerphone, Caller ID (big display!), Voicemail alert (even tells you which line), separate settings for each line (ringer, answering machine, number of rings, etc.). It has both wired and wireless handsets AND lets you designate the default pickup line if you don't specifically select one line or the other - ALL my requirements.

Even Better: The phone is Bluetooth compatible, so you can use the phone handset to make calls and answer your cell phone, too (Great for when I forget to unforward my phone). You can also download your contacts from your cell phone into the base directory. You can turn the answering machine on and off using buttons on the unit - you don't have to go through the menus. The buttons light up when a line is set to answer, so there's no second guessing. The Hold button is silent - no annoying beeps, and you can see clearly on the display whether you have muted the line or not.

The only thing that I've found missing so far is a headphone jack, but since it's Bluetooth enabled, a wireless headset should work fine. The wireless handset is a good size and easy to use.

The only challenge I've had with the phone is that certain voices sound a little tinny, but that could be the phone they are talking on, not necessarily mine. And you can't record your greeting using the handset - you have to use the speakerphone.

The phone seems pretty durable. If it holds up more than 6 months, I'll be doing better than I ever have in the past. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is because I'm too hesitant to believe it will last. Even so, it will be nice to throw my old piece of junk away.

I was very excited, to purchase what was described to us, as the latest technology...the Bluetooth availability. We operate our 'small business', from home, so the features, and expandibility, digital technology plus the Bluetooth, made it a very easy choice. [...]I called this past week, and learned the system was being cleared out, and handsets would not be stocked in store, or on-line...I sadly, returned the system today, with considerable disapointment. I am now looking into the RCA two-line, expandable systems, as they appear 'well optioned and reviewed'...but No Bluetooth feature, which would have been a great asset.[...] this particular phone, from AT&T, was not well accepted, possibly to the current economy, or the lack of knowledge, in regard to the asset of Bluetooth...Whatever has happened, as a customer, I am back to square one, re-reviewing the best, of older technology.

I am VERY disappointed with this phone. I am using it with a Plantronics headset - a nice one - and believe that the Bluetooth radio within the AT&T unit is radiating to the wired headset. There appears NO way to turn off the Bluetooth radio within the AT&T base unit - a real design flaw.

Very disappointed. This is an expensive unit. It should support this.

I had purchased 2 line cordless phone Panasonic from Best Buy on-line. It was just too complicated with small numbers and features and poorly lit. Unfortunately, I was not aware that Best Buy had a no return policy for on-line purchases. Thus I ate that cost, having multiple phones, but had no choice since it essent was non-friendly phone.
This AT&T product has been the opposite. Very friendly use. Only have had short time, but it is definitely a keeper.

Bluetooth connectivity to the cell phone is key. It allows a lot of flexibility and has a great speaker phone.
