I travel because of work. First,I received Able Planet headphones as a gift. Then, In the United Red Carpet Club, I saw a guy with this microphone using Skype. He told me when he needed better communications than a simple blue tooth design offers, he used his Able Planet headphones with the add on accessory microphone. Now I'm a believer... best ever clear voice communications with my noise canceling AP headphone.

      The item 331338 is sent with an Iphone compatible 3.5mm plug, as well as a dual 3.5mm computer adapter and a single 2.5mm Blackberry® & gaming handset adapter. It is not specific to the Able Planet headphones.

    I need a mic to plug directly into my steno machine. can I plug the end on the cord into my steno and just set the mic on the table? I don't need to plug the mic directly into anything for my use?

      As along as the mic you choose has the proper size jack to fit your steno machine all you'll have to do is plug it in the machine. This product is a good choice for general use.
