I have had Acers before, and this one, like the others, did not dissapoint me. I would most definitely recommend this to my friends, and to you!(Did I mention that this is an excellent, excellent, excellent, excellent, excellent, excellent,excellent, excellent, excellent, excellent, excellent, excellent,excellent computer?) P.S. The computer looks nothing like the one that Staples has for the image. I have attached the real photo.

I've used Acer since about 1998 and had nothing but good luck with them. I love the big screen on this one, even though it's not much fun to tote around. It's very bright and you can even play some modern games on low/medium settings. It does run hot on your lap, and the I3 seems a bit slower than some of the other models i've used. It will hang/lag while doing certain tasks. That's the main reason for my 3 stars instead of 4, i rarely give a 5. The best thing of all is the 1TB 500x2 hard drives in it. You can search all you want on every website around, and not find one with this much storage. The most i've seen is 750gb. So that's a real bargain, and once these are gone, i'm sure they will stay gone. Very rare. 6 gigs of RAM is also great, VERY loud speakers. NOTE:Turn off the Dolby Advanced Sound when listening to music, and ON, when watching movies. Music sounds horrible with it on. Optical drive is a bit loud, but works well, also you can do some video converting, and make DVD's with ease. The price is great, most computers with this much space, and the scrreen size would be about 899$ or so. Get it while it's cheap.

  Yes, it comes either with a 500GB or a 1GB 5400RPM SATA Drive (partitioned into two 500GB volumes). This is likely due to an upgrade of the specification during manufacture. I suggest before purchasing you select the appropriate specification from the suppliers product description.
