    I had delayed purchasing a new laptop because I didn't feel it was cost effective. This unit changed my mind. It is light weight, easy to use and fits my lifestyle very well. I was initially concerned that Windows 8 would be more trouble than it was worth. I was pleased to discover, after exploring it a bit, that it really isn't all that bad. The keyboard is backlit and virtually silent which I absolutely love. It powers up quickly and runs cool. So far I am very happy with this computer. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was due to the short battery life.

After dealing with this for 4 days, I returned the computer as I apparently had a bad wireless card. Acer support leaves a lot to be desired. Computer bad out of the box and they would pay for shipping but not send a box and I had to pay to have it boxed. I returned it to Staples and received wonderful service for the return.

                Light weight with the back light keyboard is a big plus. Fast processor with high resolution. With Windows 8 it boots up really fast. Love the touch screen. This is my first Acer and I am not disapointed. Would highly recommend.
